DONATION GUIDELINES

QUILTS:

Finished quilts need to be able to go into a washer & dryer.

SIZE OF QUILTS:

40" x 60" in size or larger. 50" x 50" is okay. The total should be 100" or larger. (24" x 36" is too small.)

FABRIC:

Cotton or cotton blends..

SIZE OF FABRIC DONATIONS:

1/4 yard or Fat Quarters OR LARGER.

STRIPS
2”	3½”	5”	6½”
CHARMS
5”	6 ½”	10 “

 

FABRIC COLORS:

We always need white and off white solid or tone-on-tones for use in our scrap quilts.

 

There are so many quilt shops, and department stores with fabric sections, just ask one of the sales staff for help if you have questions.  We love our quilt shops, yet if you do not have one in your town and wish to purchase fabric, Wal-Mart, Joann's, Hancock's, Ben Franklin & more stores offer great selections and or give cards for our use.

IRS only allows us to give a receipt for actual purchases with your recent receipt.  IRS only allows $1.00 a yard without your receipt.

We can purchase batting at one-half of wholesale with volume purchases and monetary donations help with the batting purchases. We suggest $ 50.00 for one quilt.  This is a guideline and we use all donations for our supplies.
